Account Deletion

How to delete your account

Go to Account → Security → Delete Account and confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. You can also request deletion by contacting support from the Help Center, or from the MechBazar website without installing the app.

Before you delete

You cannot delete your account while an order is in transit or a service booking is in progress. Wait for it to be delivered or completed, or cancel it, and then delete.

What is deleted

Your name, email, mobile number, profile photo, saved delivery and service addresses, garage vehicles, wishlist, notifications and push tokens are erased or irreversibly anonymised. You will not be able to sign in again, and your order and booking history will no longer be available to you.

What we must keep

Invoices, tax records and transaction records are retained for 8 years, as required by the Companies Act, 2013 and GST law. These are held in restricted-access archives and are not used for any operational or marketing purpose. Reviews you posted remain published but are detached from your identity.

This cannot be undone

Deletion is permanent. If you register again later with the same mobile number, it will be a completely new account with no previous history.
